We are proudly family-friendly. We gladly welcome all people to our brewery, including your little-ones.
We love being a community gathering place and being able to welcome all people to our taproom. This includes kids. We love kids! They are welcome along with all other members of our comminity. But at the end of the day, we are licensed as a brewery and a bar, not as a playground.
Unfortunately too many parents have decided that we are a place for their children to run wild and unsupervised. Our staff are not babysitters and this is a brewery taproom, not a playground. We have received too many complaints and had too many incidents due to unsupervised children which has caused us to reiterate our policy on child visitors.
Our Policy:
ALL CHILDREN MUST BE WITHIN ARMS-LENGTH OF THEIR ADULT. THIS MEANS SEATED AT YOUR TABLE AND ACTIVELY SUPERVISED AT ALL TIMES, NOT RUNNING FREELY. ANY ADULTS THAT ARE NOT SUPERVISING THEIR CHILDREN WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE.
We want Chesepiooc to continue to be an enjoyable experience for all
members of our community. We hope that responsible parents will continue
to visit with their well-behaved children and that all visitors will be able to
continue to enjoy our beer in a comfortable and inviting atmosphere.
